It’s a joke in Sindarin, it means “your towel is in another castle”
- Comment on In Star Wars, what would it mean "to bring balance to The Force?" 2 weeks ago:
The prophecy of “one who will bring balance to The Force” wasn’t inserted into the franchise canon until 1999’s “The Phantom Menace”. Nothing in the original trilogy, nor any comic books or other lesser canon, points to this “bringing balance” notion before then.
According to actor Ahmed Best (Jar-Jar Binks, et al.), George Lucas explained “bringing balance to the Force” as purging all Sith / Dark Side influence. The Light Side is balanced-ness; the Dark Side is unbalance.

think DCEU’s Peacemaker. Incompetent, therefore more “superliability” than “hero”.

- Comment on Can someone explain, calories, carbs, glucose, and gluten? 3 weeks ago:
Calorie is a measure of how much energy is in a unit of food. Carbs is a shorter word for carbohydrates: energy-rich nutrients made primarily of carbon and hydrogen Glucose is a type of sugar, a simple sugar that releases energy very quickly and easily. Sugars are carbohydrates, but not all carbohydrates are sugars. Gluten is a wheat protein that makes baked goods chewy and coherent instead of crumbly.

I can’t speak for “most Americans”, my income is pretty median but I highly value travel and tourism so I make it happen fro time to time. If you like parks and museums there is a shit-ton to do in and around DC, it doesn’t have to be any more expensive nor unsafe than visiting any other urban cultural center like NYC or Miami.

No. Watching a playthrough is completely passive vs. playing through, interactive. Doing the actual playing through will light up distinct brain regions that passive consumption doesn’t.

As long as they keep allowing snake oil advertising, AI-generated content is not my biggest problem with Youtube.

- Comment on How wil people react if Trump is right about Tariffs? 1 year ago:
Since the odds are so slim of tariffs at this scale further boosting an economy that was already pretty vigorous - I think the more important question is, who are you going to scapegoat when tariffs don’t work as advertised? Immigration? George Soros? Biden? Deep State? Panama and Greenland? Her emails? Will you swallow the doublethink when Murdoch and Bezos’s fake news tell you a recession is really sort of a boom, and vodka rations are up 8%?
