Sur. But I personally think thay Brave New Word turned out to be much more relevant to westeners.
- Comment on What is anti-propaganda? 2 weeks ago:
In comics Anti-hero, is not a villain. It’s a hero, using same tools as a villains do (Deadpool, Punisher, etc)
Anti-pripaganda. Is a propaganda with opposite vector. Same tools, different goal.
If propaganda is “USA is roten country with systemic oppression off all but 1%, that is comming for our freedom and our resources”, the anti-propaganda would be “USA is the greatest country in the word and things we do are good becouse we are ones doing it. What even is a Patriot Act? Only terrorist should worry about stuff like it.”
- Comment on Are most people here left-wing? 2 weeks ago:
Well, it’s a big and heterogeneous “outside” if we want to be nitpicky about it.
- Comment on Are most people here left-wing? 2 weeks ago:
Maybe. But your impression of it may be skewed, buceoyse there are a lot of non-USA people here. That couse some mismatch in therma that tend to overwaight the perceived size of left-leaning people. But it’s terminology, really. What in USA is considered “left” more-or-less align with what is considered left outside of USA. But what an average Trump supporter call “conservative”, in the rest of the word is simply know as lunacy.

Oh, that’s simple. They are idiots that don’t understand the product they sell.
Imagine that you are a best in the word graphic designer. And you have to sell your logo to someone, who literally don’t see the difference between quality work and the logo that their nice did in ms paint.
In their mind those are the same picture, so why should they invest in you while you are 300x more expensive?
The don’t see it, so their use data - that they also don’t understand - to look for X factors and came up with idiotic conclusions like “star trek movies with older first captains perform better than movies with younger first capitan, so good script should have old one” or “movies with 3 joks per 5-minutes performe better than movies with one joke per 5 minutes”… or “jar-jar bings”…
When future comic book author of the masterpiece Bone finaly got his 5-minute meeting with publisher who was basicly a godfather-legend-who-is-who off paperstrips he heard “you should redraw all your comics so all speech-bubbles are thought-bubbles. Garfield uses thought-bubbles, and it’s so successful”.
It’s the same reason why all all translations are shit now. People who decide are not literate enough to distinguish nuances of top-level translations from product if Google translate.
You’re thinking additional 30k to make sure that a script is good is rounding error in the cost of the movie. They are thinking, typing one page should take like 10-minuts right? So with $15/h…"
Remember, for them LOTR and Hobbit are “just as good” sources for epic blockbuster trilogy.
They are literally quality-blind. Cust-cutting is all they bring to the table.

Do you remember when writers strike, and the producents paid to cut leafs of trees, to denny them comfort of marching in shadow? It seems there is no limit of how much corporations are willing to pay to get rid of the inconveniences of dealing with human beings.
It seems that AI is amazing tool, that is bound to be used to make everything worse.

- Comment on Does Google scan yt videos to know what products appear in them? 3 weeks ago:
There is simpler explanation. People who watched this video acvtualy buy the product more often then people who didn’t.
So it flaged you as someone potentially interested and selected you when advertisers chose to target people similar to their actuall historical clients.
(I’m not saying they don’t scan videos. I’m saying they don’t have to do it to achieve effect like this)
