I am not a fan of Alito, to be honest. I think he suffers from the same issue that many of the liberal judges do. They already know their stance, and the law or constitution won’t sway their opinion. That is why people dislike Barrett so much; she actually forms her opinion based on the law, constitution, and precedent.

Worked in law enforcement for many years. I saw exactly zero cases of it. I have yet to find a study that disputes my experience. Do you have a study that shows this is such a rampant problem that the laws should be changed to ignore the rights of parents?
