- Comment on How were maps created back in the day? 2 weeks ago:
At first, people used itinirary (to go to Rome, first go to PlaceX, then PlaceY, etc) Maps of the time, when they existed, where merely illustrations, with fictionnal places sprinkled in. Then some attempts mesured distances between places by counting step, and overall direction. This is why most maps before 1000ce are really strange looking, but you can guess what they represent using the name of places. With the invention of things like the astrolab, people where able to mesure both distances and more precise direction, giving birth to triangulation, which was used until the invention of GPS
- Comment on What’s your favorite video game that most people didn’t like ?? 2 weeks ago:
Rayman M or Rayman Arena in North America. A PS2 era multiplayer 3D Rayman game with only 2 game modes, battle and racing. Most people hate one of the game modes, so half the game and are disappinted but the lack a content. Some critic said that the senses of speed is dull and the level design can be flat-out horrible.
I guess like all multiplayer games it’s easier to have fun with friends, but I liked the challenging and sometimes cruel level design that forced skill and reflexes in rcing mode.

I would highly recommend Monument Valley (1,2 and 3 is coming soon) as far as puzzle goes, for a quick arcade fix, I like Breakout 71 (with rogue-lite elements) and all games by Arnold Rauers (Card Crawl being my favorite, but by a small margin).
Here’s a quick selection from the top of my head, if you want I can go throw my app history for a few more :)

The first ones that come to mind are : Prototype Infamous Hulk
If you like the flow but it can work without gliding/grapple games with parkour can be up your alley like mirrors edge (catalyst is open world) or dead something (rising, island?)
I recently loved Tinykin for the same movement is fun reason, not really open world but 6-7 big worlds. Ni gliding but lots of movement flow. Another not open world (and not third person) is Titanfall 2, loads of wallrun/jump.
