Spoiler - I’m from future, very next week to be exact, and I have some news for Ya.
Tomorrow, exactly 18 hours from I’m commenting now, Epstein files will leak. Whole murica will collapse within next 2 hours. Dollars as currency will collapse instantly too!
7 billions dollar will be worthy less than 19 today, if You manage to exchange the currency to any other - get value of $19.
Actually, unsure, depends if 7 billions gonna be in coins, paper or digital money. That amount of paper could be worth little more than $19 (that paper is not burnable, so still meh), coins, as metal, should be worthy way more.

Simply sue them - did You paid to have a console, controller with 20 buttons (or however many it have), now they remove one for extra payment - uhmmm did You paid $$$ (or whatever it cost) - that was the deal, pay exactly $$$ for every described function, includes all these buttons. To me, ez win.

Sorry to tell Ya, lovely old person… that was like 20 years ago.
Now, entire point of big gaming is for companies to grab money from Your wallet. For fun, we may have some indie games. Surely, some companies have a middlepoint, where they offer a little bit fun for lots of Your money.
Just check how games are made now - first 2 hours of play - wow effect, and then copypaste repetitive content, paid journalism, remakes to not pay any extra to writers… not to mention day1 dlc or cut content. P2w [… wont even write much]… Fun is very optional, customer have to think they have fun, only that.
also, old lovely person, I was there too, 3000 years ago.

That would be very only reason why I would be into remake - simply post, without all the scam fuckin cashgrabs. Fcuk remasters reboots remakes, that’s all scam.

Start wearing black clothes, pentagrams, spread some ketchup.
Extreme (only fair) version. Spread ketchup on palms, bring magnetic nails, make some make up, pretend to be jesus and ask them for money, all the money. Disappear for 3 days, then send small text You’re ok, alive and have things to do.

Oh, surely GoG have lots and lots of drm-free games. It is big part of store, mentioned in ads and many interviews. They actively providing more and more drm-free, probably even silently cheer up SKG (even if avoiding saying this loud).
My point was, not every single game on Gog store is drm-free.
- Comment on #StopPayingGames 1 month ago:
Guess You mean GoG, they do offer most games as fully downloadable installer and most licences fully allows You to keep them forever, even if servers and services of Gog goes down. Not all of them, as they also offer games with separate launchers and stuff. Some games may be online only, like mmo genre, not much to do here, even if You manage to get all files stored. There’s always chance publisher takes the game off the store, or there may be some legal issues. Gog still trying to provide fully offline installers as much as possible, or even provide own, (semi) unofficial patches to old games to make them run smoothly on new operating systems (not intended to by original devs).
Much awesome, even if cannot say all games DRM free.
- Comment on #StopPayingGames 1 month ago:
Yes, yet they do respect that licence and customers… so far, we trust them mostly.
Once day, Steam may be gone from market, replace by another service, who knows, and our libraries be gone by turning servers down - there is a possibility. But I struggle to imagine Steam would delet a game from my purchases without refunds and without any really serious reason, like few others do.
- Comment on #StopPayingGames 1 month ago:
May depends on place, but I believe most of globe is fairly easy to avoid nestle, even with cheaper alternatives.
For games, until following most famous games, theres lot of alternatives to aaaa games, that are often way clearer of bugs on release date, often cheaper, and don’t require 5090 to work on medium details in 1080p. Few games like gta-clone, sims-like or diablo-like may be unique on their own, it would be even hard to ignore them in social/popculture aspect, so many gonna compare everything to few biggest. Still it is about paying them lot, preorders or throwing monies at worthless dlc day1 horse armors… We can ez avoid lot of that.
- Comment on Factorio 2.1 will be the last major update as Wube Software are moving on 2 months ago:
Aaand, why is that a news? Wube (devs) were much clear on many things, includes 2.1 being final version for lot of time now. We did learn some details, it is focused on QoL and some balance, no new content, but some new modding options at most.
We even had a little teaser of what may come next, devs already preparing self for next game, that will also take freaky lot of time to make, and it may be an mmo genre.
All set in stone, just like price and no-sales.

No rig, no buying new games for my oldie, who cannot play even over year old games anymore.
Guess I stick with the classics I do already own.
If not on new games, nor The Cube, where are Ya gonna spend Your coins? Travels, home QoL, fashion, learning stuff, beer perhaps?
- Comment on What is your favorite Metroidvania? 8 months ago:
Castlevanias: Aria of Sorrow, Order of Eclessia, Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin (no, no Symphony on my top-top list, it’s awesome, but not that awesome);
Ori and the Blind Forest mentioned already;
Axiom Verge 1 and 2;
Some call it heresy, but… Dark Souls! bit harder, bit turn-based (combat, aye, heresy x2, but stamina system makes it turn based for me, thats wild)… but running all around, having maze with many options, each boss unlocks new paths and parts of map… 200% metroidvania to me.
- Comment on Valve Reveals New Hardware Lineup: A Controller, Compact Gaming PC, and VR-Ready Headset 8 months ago:
It may be ok for building whole new rig, cube as base, and then add all next based on cube possibilities - don’t buy weak monitor, but only one with audio in it, don’t buy extra ssd, buy sd card, solid usb hub or at least wireless kb/m (personally I like wires here)… unless some may have non compatibile monitor without audio, few ssd and many wired tools already.
Also doubt my full size mounted dvd and even hdd (aye, sata2 hdd!, magnetic discs!), would be so easilyWoah just googled, we have usb to sata adapters, and not even that expensive (10-20€), still would need few, boosting total price. - Comment on Valve Reveals New Hardware Lineup: A Controller, Compact Gaming PC, and VR-Ready Headset 9 months ago:
Box looks nice…
I see many flaws on many sides, some doesn’t bother me at all (like it is very mid tier spec machine, I don’t expect hdmi2.1 for over 60hz, but still a flaw), then lack of ability to add extra hard drive, dvd, floppy (/s on this one) is slightly bothering me, and no output set for home audio 5.1+ set is already a thing for me (probably can extract them from hdmi port, but, uhm, buying extra adapters?, no fun).
Much depends on price, some said to expect 500€, which I could probably, maybe… some expect 700€+ while pointing economy trends, which is much nupe imho.

Or maybe Skłodowska-Curie, to get self radiated.
