Les Rach. Sounds like “Let’s Rock.” As a demon name, this tracks.

Beanmouth slop
lol! Perfect descriptor of their aesthetic.
I thought Turning Red was awful (because it seemed to communicate the message that one’s culture is basically disposable in order to accommodate Western capitalism). Long gone are the days of masterpieces like Wall•E full of heart and charm.

Read somewhere back in the day that Jesus was probably around 4’10” because that was about the average height of people then.

Ironically, that shape is known as a transverse cross (one of the many shapes of crucis that Romans used for crucifixion).

Will they at least let Godzilla have a story that reflects his top billing? The last two of these have been Kong films.

So, Anglican theologians like John Keble and John Henry Newman (who later converted to Roman Catholicism) built off of a notion advanced by the 16th Century Anglican Divines that viewed Anglican Christianity as a distinct branch that developed alongside Roman Catholicism and Orthodoxy. Things like the Synod of Whitby are cited as evidence that the Roman church worked hard to bring this distinct form of the church inline with Roman polity and practices (in some views Celtic Christianity is viewed as being part of this wider “English” branch of the faith). This resulted in a long-standing tenuous relationship with English Christianity and the Catholicism of continental Europe (reflected in things like the Sarum rite, etc.). So when the Reformation happened, this gave the opportunity for English Christianity to pick up where they left off and live into that distinct mode of being.
Given this, according to branch theory proponents, there would be Anglicans in the 900s. They were just put under the veil of Roman Christianity at the time.

Story time! When I was in high school (~1998/99) a group of kids decided to start a “gang.” I went to a small Baptist school. Kids were bored. This was maybe second period. They called their gang the “Yo’s.” Saying “Yo” was pretty much the extent of their gang. By lunchtime a group of us got annoyed and decided to start a rival gang called the “No’s.” The Bloods to the Yo’s Crips. The sign you were a No was you grabbed a brown paper towel from the bathroom and wore it hanging from your back pocket.
Anyway, just before dismissal everyone was called into an assembly and given a lecture on gangs and told that anyone wearing a brown paper towel would receive a detention. I am still amused at how seriously our administration took this obviously stupid and juvenile joke.

Was a committed G2 guy for YEARS (ultra fine all the way). But I’m a lefty, so ink smears were still a problem (though the G2 is better than most on that front). Then I learned about the Sarasa Dry pens from Zebra. The ink dries INSTANTLY, and writes like a G2. But they’re hard to find so I always stock up when I see them.

Not sure if it fully counts according to the question, but I can’t imagine playing any version of The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker that’s not the HD version for WiiU. That dual screen perfects the game and renders all other versions unplayable.
