Imagine how many civilians were on the Death Star. Do you really think the maintenance personnel were Stormtroopers? Or the accountants who had to figure out how many credits the private contractors needed to receive? The rebels killed more innocent people than the empire did. Sure, the empire blew up a planet, but the untold amount of damage that the rebels caused to people who were just doing what they could to make a living.
Look what happened after Palpatine was removed. Slavery became more rampant, the rich began controlling more planets, and there was no government to fill the void that was left. The empire held everything together, they got rid of those hypocrites on Coruscant, and brought about a cohesive government that focused on bringing together all planets and putting an end to the trade wars. To sum up: the empire did nothing wrong.

Trunk reminds me of Charlie Sheen. Trump is always"winning", hangs out with pornstars, and his ego is so inflated that Freud would quit doing cocaine. Trump needs to be treated like Reagan was. Like, when the secret service would place leaves in the pool. But, in this case, give him a room with a camera and tell him that he matters. But it broadcasts to nobody.

Give Songs of Syx a try. One guy, who developed the game in a shed in Poland so he could get away from his family. You can try the “demo” which is the full game just one version behind. Once he gets tired of developing it he said he’ll make it open source. Think dwarf fortress but you’re capable of having a population of thousands. Oh, and nevermind the race riots or cannibalism.

Do you think SCP-049 could “cure” SCP-3008? I can only imagine the types of experiments 049 would come up with in that venture…

Idiocracy. Great movie, it shows the decline of society due to the lack of education and increased birthrates of those who could not care less about anything but corporations. In one scene they go to Costco and the greeter says, “Welcome to Costco, I love you.”
The person who replied to my original post thought the movie promoted eugenics. I guess to a point, but it is more of a warning than a glorification.

Does it though? To me, it shows the horrors that it leads to. It does promote the idea that even the most average person can have ideas that can improve living conditions if given the chance.

Wow, gopher. There’s something I haven’t heard in many many years. It must have been around 95-96 the last time I used that. You sure know how to make a guy feel old.
