Reddit has several subs for discussing Austrianism last I checked.
- Comment on If you're still on Lemmy... 1 week ago:
Those that find a lot of merit in Austrian economics would be a great example of the type of people Im talking about were they more common here. Im not seeing a lot of them around
- Comment on If you're still on Lemmy... 1 week ago:
Then we are having different experiences here because I see a lot of extremely flawed understandings of political philosophy and basic/entry level economics.
- Comment on If you're still on Lemmy... 1 week ago:
i got a ban for reporting a sub too often where people sold CSAM
- Comment on If you're still on Lemmy... 1 week ago:
Lemmy’s biggest problem is how aggressive and uncompromisingblm the people can be.

The murder rate was much higher in the 1970s when I was a kid

- Comment on Fishing games? 1 week ago:
It was ok but the ocean/sea/bass fishing games were amazing. I really just want a compatible rod controller. I dont even like fishing IRL.

Then I’ll have to look into that thanks!

The original sold by Steam doesn’t work on the deck so Im not sure GoG’s version will
- Comment on Fishing games? 1 week ago:
Ok nothing will beat the gold standard that was Sega Dreamcast Fishing games with the rod controller that had a rumble pack for vibration. I had a buddy make a wooden box we could attach a bungie cord to give it more feel when you “pulled” the fish out of water (the box had cutouts to hold beer cans too). Simply the best way to virtually fish

Many of themas at the time notions of the divine backing whomever was in charge was common. Christianity explicitly states we are all equal in the eyes of God

I think you can leave off “for men”

Gen X here and my boomer friends in US educational circles normally pointed out the Socrates quote but they stopped doing that a few years ago. Social media has devastated the ability of young Americans to think critically according to most.
- Comment on Anon studies Buddhism 2 weeks ago:
Christianity was revolutionary for suggesting that we are all equal in the eyes of the divine and suggesting that you can be forgiven.
- Comment on What is an example of an adaptation of a book where the TV series was better? 2 weeks ago:
The Dark Passenger first shows up in book 3 as I recall. Dexter was always driven by his ASPD/psychopathy in the first books.

I live in the states. Im paying over $250/year to have digital access to the only English conservative news source left because none of the centrist liberal ones still exist.
- Comment on Top Producer of ‘60 Minutes’ Quits, Saying He Lost Independence 2 weeks ago:
No, they aren’t but they are very expensive. The Financial Times of London isn’t fascst. They likely never will be though as a UK conservative paper they do muddy the line a bit the catch is they are the highest quality news source in English currently.
- Comment on Top Producer of ‘60 Minutes’ Quits, Saying He Lost Independence 2 weeks ago:
i prefer print media for news
- Comment on Top Producer of ‘60 Minutes’ Quits, Saying He Lost Independence 2 weeks ago:
The major US TV media channels are just propaganda and should be seen as such.
- Comment on Michael Bay And Sydney Sweeney Team On Movie Adaptation Of ‘OutRun’ Video Game At Universal 2 weeks ago:
I loved that game as a kid. It never occurred to me that having to reset the game because I fell down a hole was bad design

As I recall he lives through book 2 but isn’t a detective after the mutilation
- Comment on What is an example of an adaptation of a book where the TV series was better? 2 weeks ago:
The show was consistently better except what they did with Doakes. Doakes innthe books still chases after Dexter after having been mutilated to a killer. He was in a chair without a tongue still trying to get Dexter Morgan.

They had no way to track that when they sent out copies of the films now it is a streaming site.
