- Comment on What is the best Sea based game out there in your opinion? 2 days ago:
Dredge was one of the most compelling games I have ever played and I have been gaming since 1980.

Im 5’10” and when I met her she was taller than myself. Donnie could have lifts but he might actually be 6ft+

Melania is 5”’11” (180.34 cm) so this might just be a matter of perspective.
- Comment on What's the worst instance of plot armour on characters you've seen in TV? 3 days ago:
GI Joe supposedly features the best of the best fighting against the best of the worst and no one can manage to shoot anything.

They aren’t pressure groups they are hate groups.

The only time I ever heard my childhood Episcopal priest curse was after six year old me encouraged him and his son/my best friend to watch this movie.
- Comment on Ubisoft says you "cannot complain" it shut down The Crew because you never actually owned it, and you weren't "deceived" by the lack of an offline version 6 days ago:
Your perspective seems to be you should get whatever you want regardless of the actual product you were sold and the terms of that sale. That’s not rational. You bought an online only game. If you wanted a single player offline mode to exist then you should have bought a game that had one.

It was deliberate choice by them to make even the single player campaign online homie.
As one would expect from an online racing game. Anyone buying it would know in advance that single player offline modes do not exist when they bought the game.
It ain’t an mmo, and it never should have been built like this.
It kind of was and it was intended to work as it did by the company that made it.
If your actual argument is “i think companies should get to do what they want”
My argument us that this is a game designed to be played online only. When you bought the game the packaging/materials do not talk about offline play so you shouldn’t expect it to work in a way it expressly isn’t designed to do. Adults should be aware of what things do when they buy them.

The thing is with MMOs or online only games do you have a valid expectation of the game surviving forever?
- Comment on It's a sin in Christianity to consume media based on ancient mythology and folklore? 1 week ago:
That entirely depends on your church/denomination.
- Comment on What’s your favorite “flop” of all time? 1 week ago:
Critics are comparing a film to thousands of movies whereas most people will compare it to a few dozen. Some subjects get boring when you have seen this premise 100x times before. That’s why sometimes critics and audience scores can have such a huge gap.
- Comment on ‘Saturday Night Live’ Sets U.K. Edition, Launching on Sky in 2026 1 week ago:
Lorne Michaels has done multiple comedy shows for Canadian and US audiences. There’s no reason to believe that this version of SNL won’t be focused on the UK.
They likely aren’t bringing sketches from the US show over just like SNL didn’t do SCTV bits. The only constant I would expect is “Weekend Update” which is in the middle of the show and is topical news jokes. That bit will only work if it is centered on UK politics and culture.
- Comment on ‘Saturday Night Live’ Sets U.K. Edition, Launching on Sky in 2026 1 week ago:
Do you have a history of live sketch comedy that’s what differentiates SNL from most comedy shows

That suit would go nowhere because there clearly is no sexual intent. It might go differently if you sued for harassment as this is very weird behavior whose intent is to humiliate

- Comment on Disappointed 1 week ago:
Why be disappointed? This wolf died off for a reason. If you brought it back it would likely die off again. Beyond that if you don’t bring back a pack of them then they will be very lonely as they are pack animals.
- Comment on Are most people here left-wing? 1 week ago:
Which suggests we aren’t that progressive
- Comment on Are most people here left-wing? 1 week ago:
So then the answer to my question would be “The USA”. You should note the USA is not “most people”.
My follow up question is if most people are progressive why have we never had a progressive POTUS in the last 75 years?
- Comment on What TV series or seasons you've watched do you think needed a rewrite? Or any TV series taken a writing turn you didn't expect? 1 week ago:
Heroes problem was executive meddling. The initial idea was to have each season be part of an anthology but the suits pushed for a continuation of the Silar/Petrelli storylines

In the USA everyone is supposed to have 1A rights

Most people are progressives where? Im really not sure this is the case when what constitutes a “progressive” view changes from place to place.
- Comment on [deleted] 1 week ago:
Again I’m not entirely sure that is the case. I’m 50 if a guy my age is dating an 18 year old they likely both need therapy.
- Comment on [deleted] 1 week ago:
That entirely depends on the other person’s age. 18 & 40 is creepy but legal. 18 & 12 is never okay.

By 16 you should have an idea if you have a chance at all. I was all state in my sport at 15. I knew by my junior year I wasn’t going to be competing in college because the skills just were not there. Most kids who have a chance to go pro know way before 16.

Years ago I met Bernard King a guy who was capable of shutting down Michael Jordan in college and in the NBA for a bit. King blew out his ACL and had addiction issues. When I asked him if he had advice for a 21 year old kid it was “make sure you get a degree because even if you make it to the big leagues you might not stay and you’ll need that education”. Your advice isnt terribly different.

Oh go fuck yourselves Drug Dealer was never protected by copyright. Anyone claiming those rights has had them violated tens if millions of time by kids with Texas Instruments calculators since the 1990s.
