Nope. currently, 67 counties and cities do: …berkeley.edu/inventory-of-us-city-and-county-min…
And half the population lives in what are considered “rural” areas.

Only five states have minimum wage above 15. Only 8 total are at 15 or higher. According to this: wagebystate.com/minimum-wage/

That’s potato/potahto when it comes to mental illness. Without the tendency, it won’t develop. AI, because it embodies the potential to replace workers, accelerates the whole process. Making management not just look more psychotic, but become more psychotic, or at least be further down the path.
Because you can’t be horrible to others without feeling bad, no matter who you are. And how well you feel factors intimately into the intensity of mental illness.

Greed is a symptom of possibly many mental conditions. You’re all over the place. All these things you’re arguing against are well established ideas, both in common experience and the psychological community.
You also seem to be using darvo.

No, like the article said: “it’s not as if the current industry problems are unprecedented, or came out of nowhere. Since the advent of modern capitalism (and likely a long while before that), those in charge have often misunderstood, underestimated, or dismissed the hard work that goes into labour they don’t understand.”
This and a tendency to abuse workers have always existed. Management isn’t the victim here, the AI has just removed the limiter, such as it was.

That “build-up” you are talking about, that’s called business school followed by entry level management or internship, where modern managers brush over learning their business, in favor of seeking efficiency purely in terms of dollars in/dollars out, in opposition to any other metric.

I was told not to complain about dirty dishes at a part time job once, because they couldn’t get anyone to wash dishes otherwise. The guy complained when I put steam pans with caked garbage inside back on the dish line.

He told you four times, or he voted four times?
Should be fairly hard to vote four times. If you send in absentee ballots and then go vote, well, you only get one voter id, so the previous attempt is just overwritten.
Maybe he fooled himself?

Hellman’s mayo does have a chemical preservative. “Natural flavors” is a bit suspect, too.

Veganaise is full of highly processed and vat-grown ingedients, just like “ben 'n jerry’s” has been trending.
Most restaurant stuff is full of compromises.
I think the 800 pound gorilla is cost vs quality, not nutrition. All those restaurants have shit quality, mcdonald’s-like production lines, and are a suck-ass eating experience.

See, Able was flaunting his dick, and Cain was tired of hiding his out of envy, so, Bonk!
Not the first time Cain tried to get Able in the nuts, see how Able deftly reduces the attack surface for knee in his crotch? These two have been at it before. But Able was expecting a fistfight, so shocked.

I was wondering, the timing was a sore point for bsd users back in the day. But linux had the upper hand because it was built on pc, spoke the language, so to speak. The groundswell was immense because all the hobbyists already understood the boot stack and the machine code. I don’t disagree but it is “coulda woulda shoulda”.
If they had ported to 386 a few years earlier, linus probably would be a bsd enthusiast. It is also possible the window that drove him there could have persisted well past bsd on 386. Who knows.

BSD was released as a standalone kernel over ten years before linux.
