Oh, I agree with you. It has been overused and I’m not a fan. Maybe the most overused acronym of all time?
I guess I was annoyed by you being pedantic resulting in me… being pedantic. Tragic, really.
Thanks for the sketch. I enjoyed it. It was awesome but more in the hot dog kind of way.

If you only take it in the most literal sense, sure. A pointless exercise, don’t you think? Sometimes words have a funny way of meaning more than one thing. For most this concept works and GOAT can be meaningful. No, I’m not talking about the animal. Just to be clear.

Very hot take but maybe Nintendo? I know, I know. They suck in some regards. But some of their games are still innovative.
- Comment on Electronic Arts has launched EA Advertising, a way for brands to integrate ads in games 4 days ago:
So the term is meaningless for you? That’s fine.
Again, if something was the greatest of all time, it does not mean it still has to be. Otherwise the term is meaningless as even greater things might come in the future.
- Comment on Electronic Arts has launched EA Advertising, a way for brands to integrate ads in games 4 days ago:
It does not. “Greatest of all time back in the day” does not imply it’s still the greatest. By your logic the future is also a time. As we don’t know it yet, nothing can ever be the greatest of all time, making the term meaningless.

I can really recommend this video by Technology Connections which answers your questions very well. It is long but entertaining and educational. The last 30 minutes is basically a rant about politics and I love every second of it.

Eh, I can’t claim it from Germany. Not even a VPN and a clean browser does the trick. As soon as I log in it’s nowhere to be found. I’m not interested to create a new account. Kinda surprising that gog cares enough to enforce this absurd censorship.

Yes. I assume you mean Sofia? She has eight neighbors in total, two she shares with Igor. Both are innocent according to Tom.
There is also a tutorial which helped me a lot.

Gabe: Column A is the only column with exactly 3 criminals.
Peter: There are 5 innocents neighboring Tom.
Given this combination we know that Bruce is innocent because either Sofia or Wanda have to be a criminal and because there cannot be exactly 3 criminals in column B: Bruce is innocent.
I copied my answer. I don’t know what you mean by glitch. The puzzle works with the given information.

Tap for spoiler
With the information that Peter (D3) and Gabe (B2) provided, it’s clear that Bruce has to be innocent.

Oh and cool painting, btw. Many paintings inspired by this game were a bit too much for me but this one is nice.

This game is just so good. Finished the DLC recently and it was a blast. Easily in my Top 5.

I studied biology but somehow completely dodged the Krebs cycle. Memorizing technical terms never really was my passion so I didn’t really mind.
- Comment on Civilization 7 developers Firaxis have laid off an unspecified number of workers, 2K confirm 9 months ago:
I mean why play an unfinished game? The radical changes sound interesting to me but it needs at least two add-ons to flourish, the same old story as with 5 and 6. I can wait and pick up the complete experience for half the price if that ever sees the light of day after the layoffs.

I don’t see the direct ripoff, tbh. Jack and Chris explore how one might react if they found out hell excited. What would be the implications? Basically a rational approach to this old trope. I prefer it. Nevertheless, thanks for showing me this show.

I liked it. Not their best work but still entertaining to me. I haven’t seen the show you’re referencing, however, so I can’t compare.

I’ll try iNaturalist first but if that doesn’t work for my use case I’ll have a look at Seek. Thank you.

I’m still looking for a good app to identify insects (mostly in Europe). Is iNaturalist the best?

Interesting. How likely is it that Blizzard throws another tantrum and files a lawsuit? I heard they’ve done that before against people running private servers.

- Comment on Silksong announced for 2025 on the Nintendo Direct 1 year ago:
Interesting, I had a very similar experience. I loved exploring the world, gaining new powers to unlock even more areas and growing stronger along the way. The world felt alive and authentic. Traversal was fun and combat was fair. I also liked how the characters you randomly meet have their own journeys, making the world feel dynamic.
But as the ending approached, it lost some momentum. With such a vast world and so much to discover, getting from A to B to C took time. I never actually finished the game but somehow that felt fine. It was more about the journey than the destination, which is rare for me.
If the initial reviews are good, the sequel might be the first game I buy at full price in a long time.
