- Comment on I'm looking for a no frills, physical key EV. Am I looking for something that no longer exists? 1 day ago:
Imagine an early 2000s car running on an electric motor. That’s what I want.
Step one: Buy 2000s car. Step two: Converted it to EV. Step three: Done!
There are business made on this promise with more or less benefits of economies of scale.
You can find videos how people do it on YouTube.

- Comment on Longtime buddy of mine just got a gaming PC. What games would make up a good "welcome to PC" care package? 2 months ago:
For PC I would go for the avan-garde stuff
e.g. Cold line
Most popular indie titles are already on console as studios will port stuff to increase the sales.
I would go to look for stuff that can’t be sold. Dream like avan-garde surrealism or under 2h experiences on itch.io and newgrounds.com
also RTS require mouse so it could be a fun stuff to get into.

I feel that “children yearn for the mines” and that fluffy artstyle go hand in hand. One woudn’t work without the other. They know what they are doing but the question is for whom?
It isn’t for milenialls / gen z that grew up playing it.
I hate that but I know one person that would love this film as they hate minecraft with passion.
- Comment on [Weekly thread] It's Thursday, which movies have you been watching? 4 months ago:
Recently I have watched Drive my car. I really liked it. The almost 3 hour runtime was dragging a bit long but the ending couldn’t really work without all the scenes presented. The director’s choices to the acting really shine through only after the film. The cinematography and the compositions are really enjoyable.
:::spoiler a trope inside the film It had literal chekhov’s gun :::
