Are they not cornstarch PLA? That’s biodegradable, indeed hot-compostable, and not a plastic

Most of mine are just like that, but getting the TS100 is a real bonus for SMD stuff, for heavy stuff, and primarily for me can run off my Dewalt drill batteries. Being temp controlled with swappable bits with different elements means you can go from a tiny tip to a massive wedge using the full 100w very easily, and being able to do that inside a speaker can in a field without having to find an inverter or whatever is well worth the price of admission

- Comment on Victorian Pill Testing Service opens in Fitzroy 1 year ago:
Fuck if you don’t need a way to distinguish between people who live in Victoria, and the Victorian era. I was scratching my head as to why there needs to be a distinct service to test pills from over a century ago, until I read the community name

One of my mates got his plums snipped in his 20s, still doesn’t regret it. Another of my mates spent his whole life saying he wasn’t going to have kids, and seriously considered the snip, but was grateful he didn’t when he met the now mother of his kids in his mid 40s. Life’s weird, and only (and sometimes not even) you can really know your own mind

Aww, come on, winding up oasis fans is practically a national sport at this point. The only people who rise to the bait faster are Radiohead fans
- Comment on UK watchdog threatens Ticketmaster with legal action over way Oasis tickets were sold 1 year ago:
Surely they should be threatening Oasis with legal action for selling them in the first place. Calling that “music” is definitely one for trading standards
