Buy the dip now, sure. But this isn’t the dip, it’s a Continental shelf and you’re about to lose a fuck ton of money.
- Comment on Why did/do sites such as the pyramids in Egypt or the Roman colosseum end up in an abandoned state, only to be "rediscovered" later? 2 days ago:
My guess would be that as people lost their homes, they started to inhabit places like that like the homeless founder bridges and such these days. Well, not the pyramids so much, but the colloseum definitely. It likely then became dangerous to be in that area. So they kept the structure up the best they could but weren’t worried about part that didn’t provide cover from weather.
- Comment on Russia strongly condemns Israeli attacks on Gaza 3 days ago:
I seriously don’t understand the timeline we’re in. Everything has become so random.
My mind simply can’t deal with Russia saying that Israel is wrong for an invasion/genocide.
I’m old enough that I knew literally nothing about Trump’s politics during the apprentice and hated him immediately. That shitbag is the president. “We” want to bomb Mexico and invade Canada and Greenland. “We” are closer aligned to Russia than Europe. Russia is aligned with China, but we hate China?
Tariffs, no tariffs, then tariffs+, then they pulled that and switched it to tariffs premium, and I’m just waiting for that app to get pulled for tariffs max, or tariffsgo.
We put an important person to head this agency, then gutted the agency!
You’re fired! You’re hired back! We didn’t understand what you do! Oh wait, you’re fired again.
Fucking bald eagles is now legal?
Please, just give me some stability. Honestly, at this point, we know we’re living in a dictatorship. Turkey or Hungary style sounds really good at this point, just stop changing directions! My asshole is too sore.

True, like they write the jokes before they write the plot. It’s why kids comedies feel so forced, because they are limited with what they can do, both with regards to appropriateness, and knowledge/intelligence of the audience.

- Comment on I'm suppose to believe I now live in a world where a Democrats can become president agoant and put George Soros at the head of DOGE? 1 month ago:
I read it more as a lovers thing, like melonia, without the m. And trump and Elon as lovers seems about right, but it’s one of those scary trailer relationships. Like, who’s addiction will make who kill the other first? It would truly be some of the sickest dark fiction on HBO. Sadly it’s on bbc, ap, NYT, WSJ, etc. etc.
- Comment on imagine 1 month ago:
Most hybrids do not produce fertile seeds. You can test it out if you want but it doesn’t work. I used to work for a seed company. Beyond that, without fertilizer the soil itself is dead in the vast majority of farming land.
- Comment on imagine 1 month ago:
Yeah, except the vast majority of seeds are infertile, meaning they can’t be replanted, means the “good ol boys” can’t survive.

I’m still ok with it because people will die at a rate way too high for masked people to be targeted.

The best part of bird flu? They can’t control it and it affects people equally.
My favorite part? The Rs don’t believe in vaccinations or masks.

Yeah, just go ahead and blame the consumer because the company makes shit product. They keep pushing stuff that the people don’t want. Any business doing this is going to go tits up. That’s just how it works. Are you out there buying 30 extra versions of Far cry to help them out? If not, stfu about it and blame the people in charge, definitely not the consumer.
- Comment on How do I realistically get out of the US? 2 months ago:
I may have to look into this. My grandparents on my father’s side moved here from Norway as children (separate families obviously but immigrated around the same time to the same place, Minnesota) I’d love to go to Norway, I even know a (very) little Norwegian.
- Comment on How is the current AI bubble when compared to the .com bubble in the early 2000's? 2 months ago:
The difference was that there were a lot of unnecessary companies all doing the same shit or often, nothing at all. Whereas with AI it’s legacy companies adding unnecessary shit to their portfolio.
