I am literally playing minecraft without any of those shader texturepacks because I kind of prefer games not being ultra realistic. If being realistic was more fun than we would not need games to have fun because we have real life which is as real as you can get.

I could have sworn they removed it and replaced it with opt in but this is worse. minecraft.wiki/w/Telemetry It says they removed it in snapshot 18w21a to comply with the GDPR but re-added it in snapshot 21w38a and since then.

I think we need to let one of the big mc youtubers like phoenix sc know about this to shed some light on it. Also just then when I was searching about minehut I found it is now owned by gamersafer which is related to mojang/microsoft www.youtube.com/watch?v=NY0lBr0TX_w I am not sure if not being able to reject cookies predates that but being owned by a company that is parternered with microsoft/mojang instead of just some random shady company means they should know better than to allow this illegal stuff to happen.

I will have a look into that as well. Btw while I was on minehut to check if they supported classic cube servers I noticed something odd. They have no reject cookies option which is illegal. Image

Awesome a will have a look into it. I chose minehut so I didnt have to host the server on my pc. I will check out the server software as well since classicube looks interesting.

You normally have to buy minecraft first. There are cracked clients but those wont work with normal servers. I think there is a way to allow them in server settings but it means player skins wont be loaded and everyone would have the same skin. Idk if there are any other differences.

Image This is the spawn area of the Knokelmaat seed. I am facing south in the screenshot but behind me to the north there is a plains village and to the west there is a desert village with a camel.

Most of them are cash grabs or cheap knock offs. I want more voxel games that are built with passion that can stop microsofts monopoly. An alternative I think would be cool is the community modding microsoft out of minecraft with special accounts that do not rely on microsoft. Luanti aka Minetest looks promising as an alternative.

More minecraft open source clones. or a modded community version of mc that works without microsoft. The game belongs to the community and I think we should take it back from the corporation.

A little bit of emulation but mostly minecraft. Though a friendly creeper turned my hardcore world into spectator mode. I have a save that is about a day before it but I will probably delete it since I think the point of hardcore is to not save copies. Plus it was before I built the nether portal or got a mending fishing rod. I am thinking of using the beehaw seed that I discovered before to give hardcore another try.

This is near where you spawn there is also a beach with turtles right next to it.
