I'd given you the benefit of doubt but I don't think anymore you are engaging in good faith. I've acknowledged that's the meaning many people give to 'feminism', and said that in my opinion, in practice, it is not, that's just a lie, it is not true at all, and I explained why I think that. And you're just throwing at me your feminist-theory-dictionary definitions at me. That's not discussing, you're not addressing any point I made.

I read your comment fully and carefully. I ain't no troll, I'm really discussing in good faith and I think that my believes are not very far from yours. I'm saying that equating patriarchy with sexism is just wrong, and has the undesired effects I mention in my previous comment. On that line, also, I don't agree either with equating feminism with 'equality', because it is not, it is the fight to better women's lives, which is absolutely fine! I'm not an anti-feminist and I don't think any of that crap that it's women supremacy or whatever, but it definitely isn't trying to better men's position in the matters where they are at a disadvantage, and it doesn't have to, that's why it's called feminism.
Feminist theorist, sociologists, or anthropologists trying to push these meanings, in a totally artificial way, is not helping feminism or equality, it's pushing people toward sexism and other quite bad -isms.

The patriarchy is not synonymous with men and boys. It is the system that upholds strict gender roles for both men and women. The patriarchy is detrimental to men and boys as well.
It means literally being 'ruled by the father'. I know languages are living, evolving things, and words' meanings change and drift, that's why when we want one to hold its meaning we use dead languages like Ancient Greek. The word that fits that definition is 'sexism'.
Don't play coy. Those cultures are run by men in positions of power. The law-makers help hold up patriarchal norms.
I am not, and I'll give you an example from one of those cultures I'm closer with: in my country gypsies (the Calé people) are a patriarchal culture, in the sense that they have literal 'patriarchs', kind of like community leaders with a bit of extra-official power. But in most gypsy families I've met it was the women the ones that owned everything: homes, cars, bank accounts.. and the keepers and enforcers of some quite barbaric, in my opinion, traditions and rituals (practiced by many, but not all) against women and girls, when they could literally just walk away with everything if they so wanted, they usually don't legalise the marriages because they don't trust the payos' (non-gypsy) laws and system (can't blame them) so they wouldn't even have to divorce. But they don't, and if a young woman strays from tradition they are the first to make her pay. They are as responsible as the men on maintaining the sexism.

Ok. I already suspected that. But did you have to demand being able to wear pants? Or are you including yourself with the ones that did it because of a shared (gender) identity? This is just a me thing, but I just find the latter weird, not just for gender but for any other facet of someone identity, probably because I lack the identity part of my brain, or it's not developed, I think.

Many women are still not allowed to wear pants. Also, bit of a tangent, but is that like an 'anti-royal we' or are you old as fuck?
Take a wild guess as to who were the ones to make those laws.
I don't have to guess, I have relation with people from cultures where it's not acceptable yet for women to wear whatever they want. It is enforced by their whole community, not only men, and it, the community, also imposes strict rules on how to live for men too.
I didn't mean it in the sense that there's no sexism anymore, because there absolutely is. But every time I heard, or read, someone using the word 'patriarchy' is to spout some culture-war nonsense that doesn't help fight sexism at all, quite the opposite—if it has any effect is pushing boys and young men (and some girls and women) that don't know any better into the arms of conservatism. These lads are not your oppressors, and they have no more say than you or me into how society works, but if you treat them as if they were your enemy many of them will eventually become your enemy.

What are you talking about? Many women wear pants, but they have more options so some of them wear skirts ,or shorts, or 'skorts'... men don't wear anything but pants because they will lose every sponsor in a matter of minutes. Somehow men having fewer options than women/been told what to wear is men's fault and patriarchy or whatever, idk. Kinda ironic given that, iirc, it was invented in Scotland.

Sounds dangerous, you'd hurt yourself or the people around you all the time. Maybe you could wear little sheaths on them. But still illegal, most likely, if the cops see they're sharp you'll be fined (at least) and get them removed.

Others are answering what you technically asked, but I think that's not what you're looking for. What you need is a 'live USB version', you run it from a usb stick and can try it without installing anything in your main drive.
Here is the link to the page with the links in mxlinux.com.
Now you have to make another decision, which desktop you want to use. Mx Linux's got three, xfce (known for being less demanding on resources), kde (bit windows-like, not that resource hungry either. It's worth a try), and Fluxbox (I don't know anything about this one). You might as well download and try the three of them. Just flashing them to the usb to try another.
Now the process. First you need one or more iso files (downloaded from trustable sources like the one from mxlinux.org itself, you also can check the checsum, but maybe too nerd just yet), a USB stick (probably 16gb or even 8 could be enough, but I'm not sure exactly. Pick a fast one if you can, it'll feel quite snappier.), and Rufus (this is a program to flash the iso into the usb stick).
Now read the pages I linked, and maybe follow the links there for explanations, I cannot tell you how to use rufus since it's been ages since I've touched it, but it's not so hard. May get a couple tries to flash the iso into a bootable usb (meaning the computer can boot or start running the os in that drive) but you've got this! Run rufus and flash one of the isos into the usb stick.
Now try to boot it. Look up how to get into your 'boot menu' (preferable if available, and it works. But it might not..) or 'bios setup' on the internet. It depends on the brand and model. You'll have to turn it off, and push some key just immediately after turning it on again, with your flashed usb stick plugged. If we're lucky you must see some text menu that lets you chose it to boot, and you'll be running Linux in a few seconds, hopefully.
Now when you're ready to install one of them into your computer's drive you have two options, dual booting keeping windows and putting also Linux for which you'll need a free partition or ssd for it, or if you are convinced of getting rid of windows for good just chose the easy formatting options while installing and that'll be it.
If something doesn't go as planned or you have any doubts don't hesitate to make follow up questions, it's normal if you have to repeat some steps or search the internet to troubleshoot something, but Linux has become super easy to install and use (it really is much worse with windows or Mac..) so good luck and welcome to Linux!

There exist an archaic law like that, but it doesn't include all booties, only 'Royal Fish', and imho it would be a stretch to consider bananas as whales or sturgeons.
This case would be under maritime law. Iirc the cargo still belongs to the shipping company if it fell, but would be a 'finders keepers' if they threw it overboard. But I'm not a lawyer (sea lawyer?), I think this is for recoveries at sea, when it's already on shore local laws might apply instead, idk...

I don't know what's up with my fellow millennials in the comments. I do order food once or twice a week.
About the fees, there's none if you order directly from the restaurant, and the apps/services that apply them (usually just one) take it out above a certain threshold, or looking into your email spam for of their 'discount offers', but the prices of the food are higher anyway (which I find more dishonest than simply charging a delivery fee).
Also, I only tip if it's rainy or super-hot (the weather, not the food or the delivery person), because Europe.

There's this Hindu sect whose adherents wear veils, sweep the floor before them, and/or tread very slowly and carefully to avoid injuring, killing or eating any small insects. As you said, it's about doing as much as you can, but if it were a competition they'd win for sure.

First, punk is where it's always been: in the streets, the boroughs, in the young people that are discovering how trashy this world and society are... I've been out of the scene for quite a while, but from time to time I do still go to some concert or other events.
Second, Edelweiss is not anti authoritarian, or anti right wing at all, even if it's meant as a 'fuck you' to the nazis. It's a nationalist song sung by a member of the Austrian military. [Not a doctor, take with a grain of salt] This is the only reaction I would consider appropriate in that situation. Bees kill lots of people, you don't know if you're allergic until one has stung you, and anaphylaxis acts extremely fast, specially in the neck so close to the airways.

I'd say you're doing alright. When in doubt go to emergencies and let the doctors and medical professionals decide if they send you home, unless you're in America and this would bankrupt you that is. Better to be safe than sorry, specially with your kids.

The unit of pressure in the SI is, in fact, the pascal. 100 psi = 689.5 kPa. For whatever reason we use bars for the tyres, tho. My car tyres run at 2.3 bar, which is a nice and easy number to remember not like the equivalent 33.358679678 psi, so ugly and difficult.

This is the way to do it. I used to work retail and it worked with me twice, on the receiving end. As other commenter has said do it on your way out, it's mortifying having to help a customer after/while they're hitting on you, specially if you're super shy as myself.
