edit: there’s plenty of educational video platforms out there, like Khan academy. Try and get your kids to scroll through that during their free time instead, I bet they won’t.
Maybe i was a weird kid, but i would been 100% more interested in stuff like that… Discovery channel and TLC and PBS was my jam back in the day before they went to reality garbage. (PBS is the only exception)

I don’t really like automated cars because I don’t think they’re safe, either for the passengers (who have at least accepted what they’re getting into) or pedestrians (who have not), but I don’t think that’s ever slowed the “march of progress” before now.
Eh, can’t be any worst then the average human driver. The machine has far more advantages and isn’t going to suffer road rage or full asleep after a 12 hour shift or drive home drunk…

Fury road had a lot of practical effects though. Obviously there’s still a lot of cgi of shots that is either impossible to do for real, or to enhance the effects and the scene, but almost all the action was all done the same way the originals were done in the 80s.
