Absolutely, and 25lbs is half of the 50lbs I lost in 3 years. I’ve never dieted, I just changed the way I eat to get to my healthy weight

For me to drop from my high of 205 back to a working weight under 180 it took lots of travel for work where I was away from my munchies for 3 to 4 weeks. The first time I got down to 185 in Brazil and then a trip to India got me down to about 170. I quit drinking soda pop, and started eating more fiber and no sugar for breakfast other than the raisins and dates in my muesli and quit eating bagels for breakfast as much. A T-bone accident on my motorcycle 18 months ago left me with a bad leg/foot so I’m a lot less active and loss a lot of muscle weight. I’m down to 155 now. I was 145 when I got out of the Marines 40 years ago

I did corporate training for an international company for about 20 years. Once when I was in Mexico something happened in class and I said something was okay and used my finger and thumb to make the okay sign. They kind of laughed and started talking among themselves. I guess the okay sign means asshole is Mexico so when they explained that I laughed with them and said I didn’t know that. One of the jokers in class said “yeah, okay we believe you” and gave me the okay sign. lol

- Comment on What would be a good glue to repair this spatula with that wont he toxic or come undone in a dishwasher? 8 months ago:
If I really wanted to keep it I wouldn’t use glue I’d put part of a balloon or a finger from a glove on the spatula and force it back in. IMO any kitchen utensil that’s 2 parts like this will always fail quickly. I believe that’s a force fitting with ridges intended to keep it in so slightly enlarging the piece that goes in will recreate the tight fit
