That’s great to hear because, well… I’ve just bought one.
- Comment on My review on the AYN Odin 3 1 day ago:
Really interesting review, thank you.
When you say this isn’t ready for most people, is that because the software needs more time, or the hardware isn’t there yet?
If I bought one of these today, could I expect to see better compatibility over the next 6 months to year with Steam games, or will it still be mostly for Android games and old system emulators?
- Comment on 1 week ago:
Yeah the subtext of the article is the more interesting point, that good quality indy games are perhaps a bit more expensive.
- Comment on [Darktide] I'm actually really excited for the Scum 1 week ago:
Yeah I think it’s cool too, used to love Confrontation and Necromunda, had no interest in Scitari.
From the sounds of the Dev blog the character build options are really interesting, so I’m optimistically looking forward to it.

Rings of Saturn is a brilliant game too, everyone should check it out, it’s super atmospheric.

No, you can do it with software now, even a mobile phone, it’s just a small low powered machine that does Streaming

It worked for me, I didn’t buy a Steam Machine, but I bought a few Steam Controllers and have been gaming on Linux ever since.
- Comment on Steam Hardware [new Steam Controller, Steam Machine, and VR headset Steam Frame, coming in 2026] 2 weeks ago:
With all the inputs on the front of the controller and 4 on the back you have plenty of options.
- Comment on Assassin's Creed is a "forever brand" because Ubisoft supported huge risks with it, ex director says: "Whereas, say, EA, you get these awful execs and they never made games and they came from toothpaste companies" 4 weeks ago:
Is that why the third one never concluded the series as it was originally intended?
- Comment on The Steam Controller's stick is upgradeable! 1 month ago:
Yes that’s the bit! Thank you, I will look into using that, I’ve 2 controllers that have gone that way now.

Same for me, Sekiro killed my left bumper and I tried to replace it using aluminium from a soda cab, but it hasn’t worked well 🙁

I have exactly the same one! It does the job nicely

I really loves this game, Arkane studios are one of the best
- Comment on These 5 Co-Op Games Are Dominating Steam Right Now 3 months ago:
The game looks great, but the performance is poor and unoptimised.
Apparently there isn’t much of an end-game, but from what I understand this is typical of MH games until a DLC comes out
- Comment on Battlefield 6 Official Multiplayer Gameplay Trailer 3 months ago:
Agreed, I thought the features of the stream looked quite interesting, love how you can pull downed squad mates out of danger, buy my overwhelming thought was, damn this would be better if it was slower.

That’s not my point though, they’re much better at holding discussion and keeping people updated than the Nexus mods site was
- Comment on Nexus Mods' new owners promise they won't monetise the site to death as users panic at the whiff of venture capital 5 months ago:
I mean things like Discord and Revolt, even Reddit is better for communities to discuss things about mods than the Nexus site

It should all be open source.
First thing is mods should just exist on free hosting providers for source code like GitHub/Lab etc.
Then an optional mod manager software that can import mods from these sources.
Non of this really needs a centralised community, these places already exist thanks to other better suited services like social media

- Comment on 1st time Demon's Souls Player 6 months ago:
Completely agree, the atmosphere was something special in Demon’s Souls, the music and mood of the hub area was spot on, nothing has matched that
- Comment on "I don't know" how much Borderlands 4 will cost, Gearbox boss says, but it had "more than twice the development budget for Borderlands 3" and "it might be" $80 like some Nintendo and Xbox games 6 months ago:
That’s not how the market works

- Comment on 6* months away now. If you're on 10, do you plan to upgrade? Make the jump to Linux? 7 months ago:
Linux is no more complicated than Windows, we just know what we know.
Start by trying one of the big names like Ubuntu or Fedora.
There’s not exactly better distros for gaming, it’s just about what’s preinstalled, that’s why Bazzite exists.
A good idea is to install something like VirtualBox on your Windows machine and test out some diatros to learn your way around them.
- Comment on Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Has Released on GOG! 8 months ago:
I’m also playing through the first game at the moment, I’m about halfway through though with the main quest, and taking my time with side quests and activities at the moment.
I’m really enjoying my time with it.
However I completely agree with the person your replying to, the game isn’t hard or difficult at the beginning it’s obnoxious, once you understand these systems, which you’ll be lucky to do in-game, you can deal with it and the more you play the more accessible the game becomes, but in the beginning you have to be too efficient and adapt to a very unfamiliar experience.
So this game is for me, and it’s probably for the OP too.
- Comment on I Bought a PlayStation Vita in 2025 10 months ago:
I picked mine up last year, and a PSP GO also. They’re great litte machines and I prefer them to my Steam Deck for certain things, the size and quality of hardware is in the sweet spot.
