Where has elmo contradicted it? It’s pretty much just ai regurgitating/hallucinating the things the users of the platform say with a bias towards musks own personal… well, biases. It’s like the perfect spokesman. The more I think about it the more it makes sense as the mascot or sloganeer or spokesbot.

Isn’t it though? It’s in that position. It’s doing that thing. It isn’t generally being challenged. If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, maybe it’s a duck.

I honestly dont remember the original complaint, (something vaguely about reddit powermodding, association with dogjesus and flyingoctopus? im not a fan of smug supersonic? He cuts his jib wrong, idr really) but at this point I’m annoyed at playing whack-a-mole with alts.

- Comment on banned from political memes with no recourse available 5 months ago:
a. pugjesus is a bit of a fuck, imho
b. community actions are the discretion of community mods. the only possible recourse if you arent satisfied with their actions (or lack of) is the instance admins
c. instance admins are busy af, at least the good ones are. a report of racism, libelous or otherwise, is unlikely to be investigated seriously without a groundswell of support, especially with how many of these sorts of complaints are lodged in this way, and most of them frivolous
d. takin shit way too serious for a meme comm. your effort is wasted on memes. take it to a real community, imo
- Comment on How come I can't see sertin communites? Like asklemmy. and if this is because I get banned how do I protest it or even see what I got banned for? 5 months ago:
If you got banned from a community you would still see it, but just not be able to interact with it.

- Comment on Woodford Reserve tried to undermine unionization effort at its Kentucky distillery, judge rules 9 months ago:
No. A company with over a billion dollars in revenue? No, this all seems unlikely. Why would a company try to suppress the wages of its employees? There’s no incentive, and how would they even go about it if, for some strange reason they actually wanted to? It’s not like there’s a notorious power imbalance between employer and employees by the very nature of the relationship that only unionization (or like, socialism or something if you just wanted to be some kind of pinko) could possibly begin to address.
No, very unlikely, improbable, and doesn’t seem like the kind of thing that would or could happen here in these God’s Greatest Country Ever™.
