That’s exciting. I’ve been meaning to play the first one for years. Maybe I’ll finally get to it before the remake comes out. ::: spoiler Spoiler Doubtful :::

Oh shit that’s what the lyric meant? Damn deep lore on that show. I always thought it was a metaphor for his hospitality.

Thanks for your answer. I also have many things I’ve had for years.

Oh yeah no selling myself short I’ve been bragging about the tractor non stop in real life. Huge deal saved tons of money. And it’s an antique John Deere so it’s really cool. I shared the story so that people here would realize I was being sincere.

Just out of curiosity how often do you end up actually repairing things?
Like I also factor repairs into my purchase choices but anymore I don’t remember the last thing I worked on that was an electronic. I did get a broken tractor up and running but it was “free” so that barely counts.
The reason I’m asking is I have this conflicting value versus my actual actions.

I… don’t know.

I’m confused if this is in support of coconuts being mammals as plants are living. Or you aren’t aware that plants are alive.

I was questioning the casting but learning she will be Deniros new wife is pretty exciting.
- Comment on Warhammer 40,000 Maker Games Workshop Is Doing So Well It’s Giving $27 Million to Its Staff 2 weeks ago:
Lots of stuff to bitch about with GW but prices aren’t one of them. Exhibit A is the article you’re responding to, they are responsible with their profits and put them where they should. Exhibit B is they could minimize costs and outsource the entire plastic operation but they still make all models in England. Exhibit C is paying for Art is always morally the correct thing to do, even when mass produced. Finally Exhibit D, fuck GW for promoting incredibly short lifecycles for their games and pushing an almost weekly FOMO event on products that leads a lot more to these profits than just model sales.

It is like risk but cooler! And honestly you don’t need a 2k point meta army to start with. For the price of two or three $60 video games (guess I have to preface that now) you can have enough models for you and a friend to have an absolute blast.

Logo looks a lot like metas doesn’t it? Like on first glance at the thumbnail I thought Facebook was launching a browser.

No problem. I had a similar reaction “wait isn’t that Welles” and went googling myself. I just had a head start on you since I recognized him.

I agree with the glasses component. This tech will be so cool once it can integrate with what I already wear daily. Just like the watch.

I don’t think these were released with the goal of relevance. I think they were released for “innovators” to get their hands on and to gage interest for broader implementation.
Basic product lifecycle like I don’t even think these are for the “early adopters” these are for the “innovators” or what ever the first part of product lifecycle is.

- Comment on Tory Lanez: Rapper stabbed 14 times in prison California prison 4 weeks ago:
I had no idea Lanez was as in jail. He had so many bangers I just figured he was taking a break.
Lanez, whose legal name is Daystar Peterson, is serving a 10-year prison sentence for shooting fellow musician Megan Thee Stallion in 2020.
How the hell did I miss this news cycle.

- Comment on Codemasters confirms layoffs as EA-owned studio shifts focus away from beloved rally games 5 weeks ago:
Honestly they should have never been yearly releases. Of course everyone is burnt out on them, and nothing innovate has happened in the rally codemaster games in years. I’m sad this is happening but it’s definitely mismanagement.
- Comment on Is The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion still fun for a first-time player in 2025? 1 month ago:
Yeah I definitely remember oblivion gates being a drag, but I only ever did the main campaign on one character so I never bothered with them on subsequent plays. Anyone know if the new version modifies the gates at all?
- Comment on Meta axes VR game developers amid $4.97 billion Reality Labs loss 1 month ago:
I mean we will never know but 5billion is a lot no one else is going to throw this much to VR. Gaben will buy another Yacht before valve spends this much. Apple will never care about gaming. Microsoft and google both develop as though they can’t focus on any project.
Sony has a nice headset, but it’s more of a whatever than a serious evolution of the industry.
Itch.io hosts some amazing game jams, and maybe we will see Godot and Unreal take up some slack but not five billion dollars worth.
- Comment on Meta axes VR game developers amid $4.97 billion Reality Labs loss 1 month ago:
I know people don’t like Zuck and meta in general. But flooding VR with money was a good thing for the medium. Lots of small teams and independents who otherwise couldn’t have developed for VR got to.

- Comment on Adult gamers of Lemmy how do you find time to game without being exhausted of the screen? 1 month ago:
It’s like the circle of life. Children start with console, move on to PC, return to console. Then LAN parties in the nursing home. I’ll touch back if I can ever afford to retire and let yall know.
