Never believe that anti-Semites are completely unaware of the absurdity of their replies. They know that their remarks are frivolous, open to challenge. But they are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since he believes in words. The anti-Semites have the right to play. They even like to play with discourse for, by giving ridiculous reasons, they discredit the seriousness of their interlocutors. They delight in acting in bad faith, since they seek not to persuade by sound argument but to intimidate and disconcert. If you press them too closely, they will abruptly fall silent, loftily indicating by some phrase that the time for argument is past.
-Jean-Paul Sartre
Replace ‘anti-semites’ with ‘right-wingers’, and there’s your answer

My brother in arms lol.
Was just having a conversation last week when the subject of roadside billboards came up, the other guy says to me that he reads every single one of them. I tell him when I look at billboards the only think I think about is how much fun it would be to cut them down and set them on fire. Dude looked at me like I had a dick growing out of my forehead.

It stopped at $400,000 because the state Supreme Court ruled the law unconstitutional and put a stop to the whole operation. He’d have made tens of millions otherwise.

They tried it in florida and 96% of recipients passed…but not before the state spent $400,000 in taxpayer money with the drug testing company…that had the governors wife on its board of directors

Oh you mean the Benghazi one that was widely released in theaters that conveniently left out the part where the embassy guards said everything was fine and they didn’t need any reinforcements?

I think it’s biased towards people that enjoy reading books, which rules out roughly 95% of conservatives.

Anytime someone says he can’t act I just tell them to go watch Leaving Las Vegas. The guy is insanely good when you give him good material to work with. He just had to take anything that came his way for a while there because he makes horrible financial decisions lol.

The definition I see most often used here in Lemmy is: Liberal - literally anybody who doesn’t have Xi Jinping’s cock alllllllll the way down their throat

Oh it’s still incredibly USA centric, the userbase just gets their talking points from Russian bot farms instead of US media outlets lol
