- Comment on Favorite Trek episode that's not in the usual top 57 lists? 2 days ago:
- TOS S2E07 - Catspaw
- TOS S2E16 - The Gamesters of Triskelion
Both of them crack me up for their own reasons, and I’ve rewatched them idk how many times

Flashing your meats by way of cooking naked; it causes their muscle fibers to relax, as they now know you’re not a threat (like showing your “underbelly”). Now you can get a really good sear and lock-in the juices, as you and your meats reach an understanding of mutual vulnerability. You just can’t show any fear though, so no aprons allowed. Trust is essential to tenderness, and vice versa

My wife got me to sit too lol. I had never really considered it before, but I’m never going back, unless it’s a public bathroom

Sit at home, stand in public

I read the source of my citations, but nowhere am I required to cite the citations of my source. If you don’t wanna “try” to access my resources… well, that sounds like a “you thing”. Good luck, cause my paper remains

“We have learned nothing in twelve thousand years.”
― Pablo PicassoThat’s an almost perfect way to describe how it makes me feel — though that statement’s a little more profound than just ‘awesome’ lol
I’m absolutely going to check-out all the info you linked, and thank you. I just got off work this morning and will undoubtedly end up going through it… cause it’s still blowing my tiny little brain a bit someway. One of the coolest things I’ve learned in a while

Holy shit… that is incredible. Thank you for the insight! I never knew and am at a bit at a loss for words — just… awe

Their head is, at least. The clawed feet can get rather… “scratchy” though

Mmmm… there’s nothing quite like warm, pumpkin pie

Their mom definitely got it… Slam! with the alley-oop!

I got the “Robert Sponge Rectangle Slacks” version from Spirit Halloween… but it doesn’t hold water when pissing myself :(

Respect. The casette-aux is way better than the radio transmitters, if you don’t have bluetooth nor an aux input. I was using one up until about 2015 (with my ipod instead of a cd Walkman though), before my car finally gave up the ghost. Now I just use bluetooth
- Comment on Why do some men dis other men who sit to pee? (& follow-up questions) 1 year ago:
I just discovered the joys of sitting to pee this past year. I just never thought about it before, and only sat to pee if I had to poop too… though I can’t say I ever cared whether someone else sat or stood to pee
But I had two separate fainting spells while standing to pee after getting out of bed (orthostatic hypotension), and almost really hurt myself the second time. Now, I often sit to pee at home because it’s just more comfortable (and apparently safer). Live and learn I guess

He has a doctorate in art, I believe
- Comment on House Centipedes 1 year ago:
We call that “snake jazz”, but it is widely known that many creatures (other than snakes) also practice that particular style of jazz

Ehh, depends on the concentration of salt and if you’ve been sweating a whole lot… and I mean working outside in the heat sweating, not a 30-minute cardio. But unless you have low (or lose) sodium and/or chloride, than it will probably dehydrate you
