Lemmy is a reddit clone with users from reddit. It’s not a bug, it’s a feature.

Is there any reason to think it isn’t rooted in the difference in political alignment?
It’s not about different political views. It’s about aggressive pushing, where for one comment a user can get a full inbox of quite toxic replies. Of course there are toxic people on all instances, but brigading makes it much worse.

I have observed truckloads of lemm.ee users being banned on hexbear.net, meaning that they won’t see any Hexbearian’s reply to them since Hexbearians aren’t able to see their comments.
Oh, could they ban me too? Please.

It’s strange that the only download link lead to Google Play. I’d expect them to be available in F-Droid.

Sure. Please read all of these:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fediverse
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ActivityPub
That should help you understanding what is wrong with your question and understand the issue.

Community-wise, ignore is not a solution, because their behavior affects everyone and not in a good way.
- Comment on Updated Edge and it now seems to put a frame with rounded corners around every website 1 year ago:
You’re on Linux, create a simple bash script that would execute
cd ~/Downloads && rm *.pdf
and schedule it with cron. You spent more time writing these comments about the problem than solving it. I mean, of course, it’s up to you: you can talk about issues that you’re facing and use Edge if it satisfies you. I just find it a bit unusual, given that people often move to Linux because they don’t want to use Microsoft products. - Comment on Updated Edge and it now seems to put a frame with rounded corners around every website 1 year ago:
I actually like this. Some other elements have rounded corners too, so that looks good together.

I really expected more from the game that Microsoft has been making so much fanfare over.
That’s the whole point of marketing I guess.
