Isn’t the main difference between the two groups is that one attack on the democratic process of the USA, and the other was bringing attention to the police killing people?
So one was akin to treason, and the other was just against extra-judicial murder?

Yeah, Chaz was an attack on the democratic process of the USA, and Jan 6 did involve a cop shooting an unarmed protestor. I think you got it, yeah.
