      I'm more than happy to leave people alone, but I expect that courtesy to be returned.

      These people seem to be very short-sighted. If they can use the power of the state to force me to say they are a thing, then they'd better hope nobody who dislikes them ever gets in power; The precedent has been set, and there's no logical jump from forcing me to say you are a thing to forcing themselves to say they are not a thing.
