  It was well positioned with proximity to the Leland Stanford Junior Farm where they have been conducting strange government produce experiments for years. Maybe you heard of the Grapple or the Banango?

  Many suggest it was the Naval base that helped things as they tried to innovate, so in that case it’s because of the deep water port.
