You only think you hate this. Wait until someone puts a big pile of dirty dishes in your freshly cleaned sink. You’ll be grateful for everyone who brings dishes while you can still wash them from then on.

My wife does this constantly and it is so aggravating. She will hear me clean the kitchen and decide an hour later to dump all her dirty dishes in the sink with an empty dishwasher right next to the sink.
