I hate such click-bait titles. I definitely control my car, and I’m not interested in figuring out the contorted reasoning justification behind why this particular title was chosen.

I’m going to argue that it isn’t click bait.
With the removal of the drive by cable throttles that you only influence what your engine does. You have no physical connection to it anymore.

In my car - or only in newly manufactured ones? Bc this title says it has happened to my vehicle.
Not everyone has bought a brand-new vehicle, either in this past year or even this past decade.
Making a title seem like it has a broader range of applicability than it actually does, for the sake of increasing clicks to it, is the very definition of click-bait.

You control it until someone else gets control I guess. Can be remotely shutdown, unlocked, stolen, etc. it’s not yours, you’re governed by software.
