    I was curious

The new advertising policy bans advertising related to cars, airlines, fossil fuels and excessive consumption including fashion.

Bristol is the first UK council to ban adverts promoting ultra-fast fashion, including any references to flash sales, stock or time limited offers, and Black Friday.

The ban specifically refers to advertising of petrol, diesel and hybrid-electric vehicles and SUV’s; flights, airports, cruise holidays and travel agents; firms and lobbying related to the fossil fuel industry; and marketing that encourages excessive consumption of fashion products or trends.

Psst do you know easyJet is doing a sale on flights this weekend? Me and the husband were looking to go to Barcelona just for the fun of it.

Shhhh! Patricia. Be quiet. Carla Denyer is just over there. She might hear us.
