    Misleading headline. No proof AI directly contributed to the growth, but rather the industry around AI, e.g. data centre builds

        Only indirectly in that all the data centers are dramatically increasing energy usage undermining shifts to renewable energy generation and therefore accelerating the already irreversible effects of climate change.
