TR franchise built-in benchmarks have been used as a YouTube-friendly hardware review datapoint since 2015.
Maybe they’re worried that in the current market almost nobody is going to have the hardware to run a nextgen AAA game with acceptable performance.
If they delay 2 years it’s possible conditions could improve (though I wouldn’t bet on it).
