      The closest I have gotten to being able to explain how Trump happened is simply that Trump hates the same people Republican voters do and is willing to say it out loud. After that they don’t care how corrupt he is or how much he works against their own interests or democracy itself. They are ride or die hate buddies.

    With how he slurs I could also hear “I’m a Christian” as “I’mna Christian” which also sounds like “I’mnuh Christian” or “I’m not a Christian”

    So it could be either.
