Does your vote matter as an American left-leaning citizen? If so, how effective is voting? Do you think tonight's speech by Trump will reinforce your views?

Whether or not a vote “counts” is like identifying which straw broke the camels back.

Individually, NONE of them count. Liberals in blue areas will think their vote doesn’t count because their candidate would have won without their vote. And those in red areas feel like it doesn’t count because they’re just getting stuck with whatever conservative is running.

But, millions of votes that don’t count, DO COUNT.

Elections are a war of attrition. The first one to ease off a little, loses.

    Every vote counts!

It’s harder to see how much it counts on a national level, but you should be voting for more than the president.

You also vote for representatives at the state level, for your governor, your judges, your sheriffs, your secretary of state, your attorney general, your school board, your public works employees, and more.

    Does your vote matter?

I suppose that depends on how you feel about things. To get a certain person elected, yes of course, I mean it’s not like it’s 100% republicunts all the time, so yes you can vote in democrats. Does that mean anything will change? Harder to say, there is a bit of a swell of support for DSA candidates currently, so maybe. There are of course people who would say that it’s revolution or nothing.

As far as will whatever the turd is going to spout tonight? No, I’d be shocked if I changed anything based on what he says.
