Why do British people seem to give up, refuse to stand up, and let themselves drown the moment they fall into waist-deep, dirty water (in man-made waterways that are still water, no less, so no current to sweep them off their feet, either)?
This cooker again.
It can be surprisingly difficult to stand up in shallow water, especially when the bottom is soft mud. More so if you’ve had a few drinky-poos.
