AFAIK USA. But I’d assume that lemmy.world users aren’t the only ones who see and comment on your posts. e.g. I have insomnia, I might comment at literally any time.

You seem confused about a few things:
- people from everywhere in the world can register on most websites including lemmy.world, doesn’t matter where they are hosted
- people from other instances, who likewise may be everywhere in the world, can interact with your posts and comments too
FWIW legal.lemmy.world/tos/ claims that instance operates according to Dutch, Finnish and German law.

The location of the server doesn’t really matter so when you are asleep others are accessing it. In addition other Fediverse servers also work outside your timezone. But to answer the question it’s in The Netherlands.
