Why doesn't Israel or the US try to fracture the relationship between Hezbollah and Iran? Instead of straight forward attack. Or make Iran see they are not worth the headache?

Iranian here, the government here spends most of our country’s money on hezbollah and other proxy groups, fracturing it is simply impossible.

Even better, why not fracture the relationship between the US and Israel?

I am probably going to get put on a list somewhere for this. But we need to quit being the nursing mother to baby Israel. Heck I think Israel would rather we don’t get involved in their shit or comment on their stuff anyway.

Israel plays a game by saying they are independent but are essentially parasites. They rely on the US for everything - financial, military, diplomatic and cultural support. Just see the latest attempt by them to latch on to intelligence and military budget spending.

    Eh, that’s a stup… I mean…

Hezbollah is Iran’s creation. This is a bit like asking why Iran isn’t trying to fracture the relationship between USA and CIA.

I have some bad news for you about both conflicts…

        What?

Those conflicts were conventional forces being extended to achieve friendly political stability in nations with a large enough population that was hostile to be a problem to root out.

In your suggestion the U.S. is supposed to play the role of the Viet Cong in Lebanon, and Hezbollah is supposed to play the role of a foreign occupying conventional military.

So, how exactly would this be done?
