  What was the upgrade to the game? Persona 4 Gold already looks this good. Combat looks the same. More summer school BS? Filler so they can flesh out P6? Ugh.

    The latest trailer showcased the remake’s brand-new presentation across environments, character models, and portraits, as well as several battle effects. Pre-orders were also stated to be available today.

    TF are you trying to say here, that’s the whole appeal of P4 😭

    I was intially impressed by more unique animations, like the Marie cutscene, but on closer look it still looks mediocre. It’s the bare minimum above P3R, which actually cut animations from the original.

    I’m fine with it being filler. You shouldn’t and don’t need to buy it if you don’t want it, but the kids who need post-P5 QoL will buy it so Atlus gets more money for other games.

    …the only problem being, “what other games?” P6 is the only big game since the end of 2024, and it’ll be very late 2027 probably…

  I think it’s called “Revival” because they milked Persona 4 to death and had to perform a resurrection. For fucks sake, let it be. P4 Gold was all it ever needs to be.
