I’m not an American citizen, so pardon my lack of understanding. But isn’t any company entitled to raise prices on any product as they wish?

Yes, but the issue here is if Sony sues the govt to get paid back the tariffs (that the consumer ultimately paid for) and then don’t pass that money back down to the customer.
