I think the initial shock and adjustment of going from sighted to blind would be tough to deal with in the short term. However they may be appreciative later on that they at least had the experience sight before. Whereas someone born blind may always yearn for something that is impossible in most situations. I think this depends on the individual’s personality at the end of the day.
