  I don’t know what I would have done in her position. Having to make either choice(waiting or sending one child) would have put me in analysis paralysis, I think. In the end, her decision had the effect of potentially saving 4 lives.

  The son is an absolute rock star. This will make quite the argument-winning ender in the family dynamic for life.
