Reddit's horrible admin decisions drove a lot of productive users to other platforms.
You can say it worked, it worked to make the site an intolerable echo chamber. You'd have to be insane to spend time on that site while holding any but the most pure attitudes of whatever the powers that be tell you to think this hour.
