As someone single living with mental health challenges, this video really resonated for me. It sucks that the only way of accessing a “home cooked” meal is to pay 3-4 times as much as I would otherwise be paying to feed myself.

My dad took me to an automat when I was pretty young. I don't remember much of the experience.

It’s funny, I saw this posted around before and just today on the news saw how automats are coming to the east coast again.

Simple answer: “greed”.
People found out that serve low income pop is not profitable as serve middle or upper class. Got to squeeze every of penny from real estate value there, in the big city.
