  I’m a mobility scooter user - don’t feel bad for us, these devices are incredibly liberating, in a really life-changing way.

  Movies and stuff love to show disabled people as unhappy to be “stuck in a chair” but in the real world most disabled people are very thankful for their assistive technology because the alternative is never going anywhere or doing anything.

  They have chromed-up ones styled to look like a Harley-Davidson or similar, presumably for cashed-up boomers who will gladly pay to feel cool
