  Thanks @snooting@sub.wetshaving.social for including me in this month’s BVWSC meeting despite my recent absenteeism!

  Darkwing is a joy to use and this time was no different. I had a smooth shave with my current go-to setup, bit this accent isn’t for me. The dry woody centre makes me think of the sun dried twigs on the floor of a pine forest in summer, which is mostly fragrant resinous notes, but with a touch of dry rot that I can’t unsmell. Glad I tried it, though!

  First, a confession: I shaved during what was technically still Tuesday, though it was late, so Wednesday-ish.

  Then: this one is a keeper. I really enjoyed the scent, and the lather was also very good for a first try. I don’t believe I ever used a soap from Chicago Grooming Co. before, but I clearly see myself using this again – the smush is generous, and there is at least a second shave in there.
