I love Matrix Conduit because it lets me run a Matrix homeserver off of one of my Intel Atom(!!) servers. Synapse was crazy, pegged the CPU to 100% all the time, whereas Conduit sits at idle even during high intensity operations like entering a crowded chatroom.
Matrix Conduit is a lightweight Matrix server. It reached Beta status a couple weeks ago
