Spineless Bill Maher is spineless, but that’s good for the unions he hates so much.
Back when he was still somewhat left-wing more than 10 years ago, I still watched his panel show, and it was apparent every single episode what a fragile individual he is. He demands praise constantly, but criticism makes his faculties fail.

Part of me is surprised this show has good enough ratings to still exist. I’m guessing it’s cheap to produce.

Cant be that expensive to copy all the jokes on r/neoliberal and then smugly jerk yourself and you conservative guests off for 30 min.

I wonder how cheap it might be, they still might have to pay Bill Maher a considerable some. People seem to like his panel segments depending on who his guests are so I'm presuming that's where most of his ratings are coming from.

The panel is the only redeeming part of the show, really. His jokes are just increasingly of the ‘old man yells at cloud’ type.
