  I dont know the article, but looking for work generally helps me when im absolutely fucking done with my job.

  Yes, its more work, but it makes lal the "huge and terrible" problems of your main job seem smaller, isolated, even stupid. They matter less because you dont have to depend on that job any more, so you actually do get better mentally.
