Why would they do that when they could use the time-honored GOP strategy of blaming it on democrat leadership and immigrants?
If corporations are the GOP and the GOP are corporations why isn't it assumed that corporations will stem inflation due to tarrifs while the GOP is in power even if its at loss?

That’s already part of the plan but it loses weight if its happening under the current administration. That’s the way people precieve things, no matter if its right or wrong.

True, but remember they will just blame it on the previous administration until it’s forgotten.

We are all going to become slaves in this dark empire. The Corpo Scum will own us.

Mostly, they can’t. Businesses like Walmart have margins of around 3-4% or so. If the cost goes up an extra 10% or more, that’s it.
I don’t see why they’d gift billions to customers, to prop up a guy who’s ruining them.

Walmart seems to be working with trump already to stem the losses. Walmart isn’t the only major player.

they don’t want to

Why would they take a loss, when they can just make their customers pay for it instead?

To consolidate power for the GOP.

Why would losing money, “consolidate power for the GOP”? The only people that matter to the GOP are the ones that stand to lose money. Their interests come first. The peasants will do as they’re told, regardless.
