I'm trying to appoint a lemmy.world alt I have as a mod to a community, but it doesn't seem to be working.

With the news that lemm.ee is shutting down, I’m trying to add my new account as a mod to the communities I mod.

I tried to add @irelephant@lemmy.world (one of my alts) as a mod to !ireland@lemmy.world but its not working.
