With the clock ticking on a delayed October release date, producers are scrambling to rewrite, reshoot, and somehow salvage MJ’s big-budget musical biopic.

TLDR; MJ’s estate agreed to never depict the family of one of his accusers in a legal settlement. The movie was going to depict them as money grubbing. Womp womp.
